The word er at the start of a sentence.

  1. There is a baker in the street.
  2. There are two bedrooms in the flat.
  3. There is a park behind the school.
  4. There are many people at the market.
  5. There is no bread today.
  6. There is a new school in my street.
  7. There are ten apples in the basket.
  8. There is a question on the board.
  9. There are no buses on Sunday.
  10. There is a good restaurant here.
  11. There are two cinemas in the centre.
  12. There is always a queue at the baker's.
