More colours, the changing room, and saying something fits or suits you.
Grammar
Passen and staan
- Passen = to try on: Mag ik deze broek passen? You do that in de paskamer.
- Passen also = to fit (the size): De jas past goed. De schoenen passen niet, ze zijn te klein.
- Staan = to suit, to look good on someone: Die kleur staat je goed. Roze staat mij niet.
- Licht- and donker- are glued to the colour: lichtblauw, donkerrood. Ask: Heeft u deze ook in het grijs?
- Genoeg comes after the adjective: groot genoeg, niet lang genoeg.
