A2 · Lesson 95 · Working life
Office life
Describe your working day, your team and your office routines.
Grammar
Routines: altijd, meestal, soms
- Use the present tense for routines: Ik begin om negen uur. We hebben op maandag overleg.
- Frequency words usually go right after the verb in a main clause: Ik drink altijd koffie. Ik lunch meestal in de kantine.
- If the sentence starts with something else, the verb comes second and the subject after it: Soms werk ik thuis. 's Ochtends lees ik altijd eerst mijn mail.
- With separable verbs the particle still goes to the end: Ik werk soms over. Wie werkt de nieuwe collega in?
