Test results & referrals
Follow up on a doctor's visit: results, referrals, specialists and waiting lists.
Grammar
Object pronouns: me, je, hem, haar, ons, ze
- After a verb or preposition, use the object form of the pronoun: De huisarts verwijst me door. Ik bel u morgen terug. Kunt u haar helpen?
- In speech the unstressed forms me, je, ze are normal; mij, jou are for emphasis: Bel mij maar, niet mijn man.
- For things: a de-word becomes hem, a het-word becomes het, and plurals become ze: De verwijzing? Ik heb hem in mijn tas. Het recept? Ik stuur het naar de apotheek.
- Ze is used for people and things in the plural; hen / hun are formal and only for people.
